Home at last.

Went to bed at two something Tuesday night after studying and cleaning.

Woke up at eight to resume the chicken-with-it's-head-cut-off running around of the night before, and proceeded to take my finals until 3.

Clean clean, pack pack till 4:30 where I was checked out and passed the clean test.

Proceeded to drive 9 hours home.

Home at last, home at last, thank God Almighty, I'm home at last!

.... for about 28 hours until I leave on vacation.

wait, did I not mention that?

Okay so yesterday I was here

Right now I am here.

And on Friday I am leaving for here for a week.

Guess I better brush up on my totally forgotten high school French.

Edith Piaf

My first experience of Edith was in the movie La Vie en Rose. It's quite amazing, and if you haven't seen it, I recommend you do. She had an amazing life, so many hardships and never gave up fighting.

Though I love the movie, her music is even more amazing! I totally feel more cultured when I listen to her It's really inspiring, and makes me want to sing along really loud!

If you don't know any of her songs, my favorites are "Milord" "Rien de rien" and "Padam Padam" and I could probably name off like ten more, but those are pretty amazing.

PS. I should *probably* think of a different adjective than amazing

The Bangs are Back...

...alive and kicking!

I have been waiting to get my bangs back basically since I decided to grow them out.

I guess that I am indecisive like that. But at least I waited a few months so that I could justify the haircut they are thinner now, so they make me look less hippy-ish than before.

My dad thinks they make me look more like my mom. That is his most favorite comparison EVER.

P.S. I totally want to go find a job in France during next summer through Bunac. Like a lot.

Who cares if you can barely tell what they are saying when you are in a city like these??

View of paris

I am even listening to French podcasts to refresh my french!

Au revoir pour le moment!
