Pouring outside and a pouring out of the soul

Do you ever sing to songs and feel like you are pouring out your soul? Like it isn't just you saying these words but like your soul was singing them and you felt exactly how the composer of the song felt while writing it? Like you need to keep singing this song, and it leaves you feeling like you just purged some emotion out??

I don't know if I described the feeling well, but the only two songs I have felt that with are Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler and Don't Stop Believing by Journey.

Any of you have songs that make you feel the same way?? Let me know!



PS. On another note, have any of you seen this? Made me love Josh and Ellen even more. If it is even possible for me to love Josh more.

Anyways, as a result whenever I hear helicopters over my house and sirens I naturally assume that someone has broken out. I know, I know, that *probably* is not the case BUT my sister has had the search light stay on here for a few seconds one night while she was walking the dog.


AND my 7th grade history teacher once told us about the night cops went around her neighborhood with loudspeakers telling them not to go outside and to lock their doors.


Yet somehow my parents don't understand my irrational fear of walking around the house at night.

Disclaimer: Actually Folsom is pretty much one of the safest towns around. So I guess I don't really have a reason to be so freaked out all the time, but it *is* a good excuse, right?

I watched this a few days ago for the first time. Apparently I really liked it because I am still constantly singing

"Meet me in St. Louis, Louis.
Meet me at the fair..."

and that's all the words I know. But it's quite catchy.

The three eldest sisters of this awesome band are in my BioPsych class. They are seriously some of the sweestest and nicest people I've met. I just wanted to wish them luck as they head to LA tomorrow to meet with their manager and write songs!

I think they are way more awesome than the Jonas Brothers.  

(To be fair, I have never heard a Jonas Brothers song. Kinda proud of that actually.)

Edith Piaf

My first experience of Edith was in the movie La Vie en Rose. It's quite amazing, and if you haven't seen it, I recommend you do. She had an amazing life, so many hardships and never gave up fighting.

Though I love the movie, her music is even more amazing! I totally feel more cultured when I listen to her It's really inspiring, and makes me want to sing along really loud!

If you don't know any of her songs, my favorites are "Milord" "Rien de rien" and "Padam Padam" and I could probably name off like ten more, but those are pretty amazing.
