Laptop Fun

At my baking class on saturday I noticed my teacher had this super cute pink decal of snow white holding an apple on the back, but it was the actual apple from her mac laptop! It was made to fit it! I died of cuteness.

She said she got it off of Etsy, so of course I went a-hunting also!

This is the one she had... except in pink

Out of Print

As lover of books, as I'm sure many of you are, I hope you appreciate these T-shirts.

If I was a t-shirt girl, I'd be all over this. And even as not a t-shirt girl, I may be requesting one for my birthday.

I discovered this wonderful site while reading Pancakes and French Fries post about it.

Here for the shop.

What one would you get? I think I'd snag a Slaughterhouse-Five personally.

Mustaches

I know, I know. Everyone is sick and tired of mustaches. But guys, I never did any fun party stuff with them. I only lived vicariously through the blogosphere and so I didn't get it out of my system. Kind of like never listening to the radio so I still love all the songs that everyone else is sick of.

sooo I totally think these are cute and fun.

At Night,

when I am all alone, sometimes, I will put some heels on while I get ready for bed.

{Gosh, sometimes how cool I am blows my mind ;) }

Adds a touch of glamour to my baggy sweats I guess.

It's nice to feel pretty isn't it? And usually I feel so gross when I am in my pjs. I should probably not own stuff that makes me feel gross when I wear it huh? Especially when I am wearing it 8 hours a day.

Maybe I should actually get one of these like I was swooning over.

Then again, it would probably be too cutesy.

*Actually* I can't afford it.

*Actually* I went shopping this weekend. I don't know how you could not want to rush off to the mall and attempt to emulate one of Emily's outfits from Cupcakes and Cashmere. I mean really. The girl is gorgeous. With gorgeous clothes.

And bought these pretties:

I think they shall go nicely with some lovely summer dresses, no?

{And less than $30 to boot! Just went on sale, and they had to ship them to my house, but no shipping fee and they took off the taxes! woohoo!!}

I actually "dress" up more because

On a typical day I will be wearing a dress, a skirt, or long shirt and leggings. Not just because I like the look of skirts and dresses better, because sometimes it's just easier to wear jeans, but because, darn it, it is just more comfortable.

I don't have to worry when I bend over that my pants are going a little too low if you know what I mean, and since I don't wear short skirts and dresses I don't have to worry about the other side peeking out when I bend over.....

sooooo not cute.

One Elder in my ward always teases me when I see him for "dressing up". While *I* wouldn't call my style especially fancy or anything, I certainly hardly wear jeans and shorts.

The only pluses I can think about for jeans is that you don't have to worry about closing your legs when you are lounging at home, and it keeps the thighs from rubbing together. I mean, practically everyone's rub together at least a little right??

And let's face it, that is what spanx is for.

Aaaand on a cuter note, lookee what I wore on Sunday!!

Yes, I spent wayy too much on that dress. Yes, it was in response to a heart break. No, it wasn't a boy, two of my very good friends went away to school till august.

Till August Cecil twins!!!

Umm, I think this is love.

Whoa whoa, don't get ahead of me now. I am not engaged (or anywhere near it)

I think I may be in love with this ring though.

Anyone have $2,600 to loan??

.... and I'm not even a gold person.

In the market for a new phone cover.

I just noticed that this is post 100! Woo hoo! Wish it were something epic... oh well, the story of my life.

Mine is sadly wearing down. A few people have remarked about the fact that I need a new one, so I am throwing the towel in, gritting my teeth, and spending the money.

Can you see it ripping at the top? And peeling off on the bottom??

No? How about now?

The top should not be pulling apart like that. *Sigh,* at least it lasted over a year and a half!

Actually I kind of want a new one just because I saw this:

Iphone_landing_2

I love the lighter color. Cute but not in-your-face right?

Plus it's not much more than my incase one that hasn't protected my phone from that many scratches.

Should I just stick it out with the one I have?? It still works... sort of. And I think I will have this phone until it breaks... I get pretty serious with my phones and keep them around forever. It ought to last more than two years right?? Or are iphones not durable enough to last me another year or two?

PS. Thanks for the support and words of advice from yesterday's post! I was still pretty blue all night, and most of today, but I am definitely feeling better now!

Lovely all around

Tonight as I was getting ready for bed, I looked down at my oversized sweatshirt and sweatpants. Warm? Sure. Cute? Not so much. I wouldn't even answer the door to a solicitor in these things. They aren't ratty or anything, but to me sweats just say to people you see that "Hi, I don't care what you think of me."

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind when other people where sweats or anything. I get the days when jeans are just not looking that good. It's just for me I can't wear them in public.

So I was thinking about a little something I have been wanting for a few years now, but I can never find one up to my expectations.

Remember the nightgown Eliza wore while singing "I Could Have Danced All Night" in My Fair Lady?

I want it. Real bad.

Any tips on where to find one similar? It doesn't have to be exactly the same, but whenever I see that similar style I go weak in the knees. I just find them oh-so romantic, don't you agree?

PS. Isn't she just darling in this movie?? It's my favorite of hers.

Just thought I'd share

how cute I think my little Dutch figurine is!

Sorry about the bad quality I should work on my laziness but I just find them adorable!

PS. Are any of you going to the New Moon midnight release?? (I'm not, figured I wouldn't be able to hear with all the tweens screaming every time Robert or Taylor come onscreen, but I think I'll see it friday). Pretty sure Kristen Stewart is on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight, and Taylor Lautner tomorrow night.

PS.PS. Colds suck.

Shoes

Now I'm not a shoe person by any means. I admire a good lookin' pair when I see them, but I think the fact that my feet are "neanderthal" like, aka they are really wide and square, shoe shopping has always been disappointing and frustrating.

That said, I want these:

 browseproduct

They currently live at Urban Outfitters.

I want to adopt them.

I can't afford it, but Should I take the plunge??

These...

would make an *excellent* addition to my wardrobe

Unfortunately, they are totally out of my price range. What are your winter wishlists filled with?

PS. Thank you weather for cooling down. I quite enjoyed wearing slippers around the house.
